1. Clean your kitchen! After cooking, put your leftovers into airtight containers and store them in the refrigerator immediately. This way, they don't go bad. You can even toss some vegetables that may have gone bad into a salad later.
2. Drink water. Try drinking eight glasses of water per day. Not only does this keep you hydrated and help flush toxins from your body, but it helps you stay healthy and lean. Water has zero calories, unlike soda or juice drinks.
3. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Most buildings have stairs. Instead of taking the elevator, try walking up one floor and taking the stairs down. You'll get a good workout without consuming any extra calories.
